BREXIT Shock: The Aftermath of Jo Cox’s Assassination

Thursday was a sad day for Britain as Labour law maker Jo Cox, a Brexit “stay” campaign advocate who was murdered in Bristol, northern England. This came as a complete shock to the political system as well as the public who didn't anticipate this abrupt halt in this rising star's life.

The immediate response of both sides was to suspend the campaigns and cancel previously planned political events.

The police got a hold of the shooter Tommy Mair after finding several weapons. The shooter was alleged to have shouted “Britain First” the name of the “Leave” camp who is pro Britain leaving the EU and against immigration.

The GBP had responded with a slight rally as campaigns were suspended, furthermore, BMG pooling company was due to release their referendum poll results today (Friday) yet decided to postpone it by a day.

Prime Minister, David Cameron, also responded as he tweeted his condolences to Cox's family.
